UPDATED INFORMATION ON CENTRAL AUTHORITY (CA)

The Central Authority changed its location. The new address is:

They started to issue the approval of registration so cases can start to be submitted at PGN to continue with the adoption process. This approval consists on a number and seal of the CA on the first page of the copy of the four page form. This added to the file, will allow cases to be submitted or resubmitted to PGN.

Once the files are back in PGN, they should follow the same procedure as last year for cases started on 2007.

US EMBASSY #1 DNA TEST PROCEDURE
Documents that you may need for the appointment:

1. Embassy Approval document.
2. Minor’s Birth Certificate

3. Copy of the Custody Document

4. Copy of the Birth mother’s ID and foster mom’s ID (cedula)

5. Payment receipt of Labcorp (Clinic that issues the DNA test)

6. Q.850.00


 

Payments:
You agency is the one who pays the DNA test directly to Labcorp, it could be in cash or with your credit card. The agency will give you the payment options.

Expiration times

Do not forget about checking on the expiration dates because we have known about families that were in the final stages and they find out at the end that some of the documents were already expired, that made them waste valuable time in issues that could be solved if they had that knowledge before.
Please take note.
