TESTIMONIALS
Dear
adoption supervisor,
thank you for all your hard work and dedication in helping us
adopt our little girl. I truly believe that without your help we
would not have been able to get her in time for us to celebrate
her first birthday.
We had been in the process of adopting a child for 2 1/2 years.
We had so many problems while we attempted to adopt a child. We
were given a child who had Down syndrome and a child who was
sick and died. All medical reports stated they were normal. Each
time we had to take a new child we had to redue papers over and
over again and repay fees. Our agency had no compassion for us.
We were just one of the many families adopting a child. We had
no relationship with our agency. Our agency did not update us
frequently on that status of our case or give us frequent
medical reports. For that matter, the first two children did not
have accurate medical reports, because we were told they were
healthy normal children, we were also told from our agency that
we can not contact the Embassy or call PGN on the status of our
case. We were also told that we could not hire an outside party
to help us in the PGN process because it could upset the people
in the Embassy and PGN and it would prolong our case. We were so
desperate to get this child home. We feared that if we didn't
get her home something may happen to her just like the other
children we attempted to adopt. We also feared that the Law
would change and we would not have any way of getting her out in
time. We also were also facing all our paper work expiring and
we would have to redue everything again for the fifth time. That
is when we heard about adoption Supervisor.
My first contact with the director was unbelievable. For the
first time ,we were treated like human beings. Someone actually
cared about the child and about us. They cared that we were
having such a hard time. They also had compassion for how we
felt about loosing the other children. They also listened to our
frustration and kindly said," I am so sorry and we can see what
we can do to help your case". They didn't give false promises,
but said they will try. With in 24 hours we received an update
about our case and were it was In PGN. They did the
investigation even before they actually received our payment in
their hands. I had just sent it. They gave us our update the
next day. They also followed our case daily and updated us at
least every other day. We were out shortly after. We were so
shocked we couldn't believe it. We found out before our agency
did. We were signed off on Friday and on Monday Morning our
agency in Florida contacted us that we were signed off. What I
really liked is that our agency never knew that we hired about
adoption supervisor. All the work they did was held
confidential. Although, we were told that we could upset people
in the Embassy or in PGN that was not true. I truly believe God
used them to perform a miracle. The biggest thing they did was
also guide us on what to expect after we receive the pink slip
before and after and what to do when we go to the Embassy and
bring her home. They even took the time to say good bye. Our
agency gave us not follow up and what to do and what to expect.
Not even a good bye. I highly recommend adoption supervisor
because of their compassion and passion to help families adopt a
child. I would highly welcome any one interested in contacting
me for a recommendation or for any further questions,
thank you for all your help,
Clarke and Mary Napper
We started out feeling
very good about our agency, and had no problems with DNA or Family
Court. But eight weeks after we entered PGN we had a kickout for
something that our facilitator should have caught, and also had
lots of questions that were not being answered. I called ASG at
this point. They were honest, helpful, and very kind. In fact,
they even told us we probably did not need to hire them at that
time, and that we should a little while. However, six weeks after
our resubmit we found out our facilitator had not been checking on
our case, and we had not been assigned a reviewer during those
weeks. We were shocked, and hired ASG that very day.
ASG told us every step they were taking as they worked on getting
us a reviewer and getting our case signed. We always knew exactly
what they were doing and exactly where our file was. Since often
facilitators and attorneys do not try to find out what step files
are at, having ASG to give us that knowledge felt very empowering.
We knew right from the start that our file was in good hands.
Two weeks after hiring ASG, we were out of PGN. Our agency never
knew about their involvement, nor did the attorney or facilitator.
They are discreet, professional, intelligent, and most of all,
they truly care about the children and families who hire them.

We were in our adoption
process for many months. There were many issues with our agency
as well as a complete turnover of staff. For that main reason as
well as rumors of adoptions being stopped or the process
changing, we made the decision to hire Adoption Supervisors
Guatemala.
They were able to get us out of family court within 2 days of
hiring them!!
We were into PGN a week later and ASG followed our case closely.
We got updates at least twice a week if not more. We knew where
our case was at every step of the way.
Because of ASG we knew we were kicked out of PGN before our
lawyer and agency. We were able to maintain privacy, our agency
and lawyer never knew we hired them.
It took our lawyer three weeks before we were resubmitted again.
But once back in, we were able to get ASG on our case again.
Within 5 weeks we were OUT! Those 5 weeks included holy week
when everything is pretty much shut down. Without ASG we would
have been stuck for so much longer. We got our daughter home
before 8 months old because of them.
Hiring ASG was the best thing we did in our process! Knowing
that we had someone that really cared, really wanted our process
to go smoothly was priceless. We were able to have peace of mind
that we did everything possible to bring our daughter home.
I would recommend ASG to anyone in the process of adopting from
Guatemala without hesitation.
Sincerely,

My husband and I cannot thank
you enough for all your help in the adoption process of our son,
Brennan. Without your help we would have never known the truth
of our case and perhpas still be in PGN today. We will continue
to sing your praises and mention the great things you all do and
the wonderful communication you have with all your clients.
Please let us know if there is anyone who would like a
reference, we would be more than glad to offer one!!!
Sincerely,
Jennifer and Bill Smith

I lived in
Guatemala for four months while waiting for our case to finish.
Our case had been in PGN since October of 2005. Some bad things
happened with our attorneys and all of these attorneys'cases
were thrown into investigation. Our adoption agency in the US
refused to follow up in the ways we asked to be sure that our
attorneys were checking regularly on the status of our case, and
we were told just to wait and ride it out. I was very conflicted
about seeking outside help; frightened of spending the money (I
didn't have any left after living there for four months);
frightened of someone finding out and sabotaging our case; and
just scared to be challenging the authority our agency had
posited towards us.
I was able to meet with Adoption Supervisors Director and
Attorneys, and I liked them right away.
They were very human, genuinely empathic and also realistic
about what they could do.
They did not make any promises about outcomes, only promised
that they would do all they could to help. They outlined for me
a lot of possibilities for what we could do to move the case
along in any given scenario, all of which were ethical, legal,
thoughtful, and respectful of our child's family and government.
They went to work immediately on my case. Within 48 hours (two
work days) they had identified the problem and solved it. It was
a matter of my case literally being lost in somebody’s desk. The
Attorney that was assigned to my case, actually stood over the
woman's desk until she found it, and then he went back to PGN
every day, sometimes twice a day, to make sure it was being
processed. My case was out of PGN within the week. He also
provided follow-up service, helping me to know how to work the
embassy, how to stay on my facilitators to make sure the pink
slip and passport was done immediately, all of it. He and the
director were both tireless, as well as compassionate.
I liked that they worked so cooperatively with PGN. There is not
a self-righteous bone in their bodies. They work hard, they
check in regularly, they listen, and they don't ruffle feathers
unnecessarily.
I am home now with my son (we got back a week ago tonight) and
if I had not hired them I would still be sitting in Guatemala
feeling utterly at the mercy of my agency, with no end in sight.
One thing I think is really great is that they split their fee:
first, there's a fee for the investigation they do to identify
the problem. Then, once you know the problem, you can follow any
recommendations they have on your own, or you can hire them to
follow up, or you can decide to do nothing. I did not feel
pressured at all to hire them for the second portion, although I
did decide to do so because it made me feel so much more secure
after being through so much. They were honest about what they
could and could not do for me and left that up to me.
I will tell you that, having met them in person, they are
honest, generous, empathic, hard-working people, and I recommend
them without reservation. I could not be more grateful to them.

Adoption Supervisors Guatemala
was a God-send to us. We join with the many families we know who
used their services in saying, "We wish we would have hired them [ASG]
earlier." ASG gave us hope when we felt that no one was fighting
for us or our adoption. They went above and beyond what was
required or what we expected from them. It is easy to see that
the motivation behind ASG and what they do is because they truly
care about bringing children home to their families. They are
characterized by being professional, caring, educated and
helpful. They were always willing to answer our questions,
address our concerns and inform us about the adoption process. It
is so wonderful to have someone to turn to for correct information
and to know that there is someone out there desiring for our
family to be together! We do not have any regrets about hiring ASG.
"Thank you ASG for helping us become a forever family!!"
Sincerely,
The Knudsen’s
